Day 1:  Ha Noi – Thai Nguyen – Bac Kan  ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )
You take a morning drive out of the capital and head North-East to Thai Nguyen province, from where you will start your bike ride to Bac Kan. Your first day is rather easy with a few rides up and down hill through the spectacular sceneries, beautiful villages of Tay and Nung en route. Overnight at Bac Kan townlet.

Day 2:  Bac Kan – Ba Be National Park  ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )
In the morning, take a 20km cycling outside up-hill the Bac Kan province and enter to a quiet road with great view of Tay and Thai small villages. In the afternoon, you will take a boat cruise on Ba Be lakes then visit Pac Ngoi Village. Overnight at Ba Be National Park Guest House.

Day 3:  Ba Be – Bac Me  ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )
After breakfast, cycle to the waterfalls and have a short boat trip around the area. You then continue your cycling adventure to a small trail to Bac Me. (no jeep support). Overnight at Bac Me town.

Day 4:  Bac Me – Ha Giang  ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )
Today’s goal is cycling on the good paved road along Gam River to Ha Giang. Overnight at Ha Giang town.

Day 5:  Ha Giang - Heaven Gate Pass - Hoang Su Phi  ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )
Easy ride 45km down highway 2 to Tan Quang where you turn left and uphill to the mountain again. Your challenge today is to cycle up the Heaven Gate Pass before getting to Hoang Su Phi town then overnight at Hoang Su Phi.

Day 6:  Hoang Su Phi - Xin Man - Bac Ha  ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )
Start your heavy biking day to Bac Ha by passing some worst part of the road. It is worthwhile since you enjoy the spectacular sceneries and great views along Chay river. Overnight at Bac Ha.

Day 7:  Sunday Market  ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )
Relaxing a day promenade around Bac Ha Sunday market, see a market day for all tribes: Tay, Nung, Dao, Flower H’mong, Giay, Phu La etc… Afternoon, you ride bike around H’mong village. Overnight at Bac Ha.

Day 8:  Bac Ha – Lao Cai - Ha Noi  ( Breakfast, Lunch )
Leave Bac Ha and ride down the mountain pass to Lao Cai via Bao Nhai Bridge. Afternoon is free at your leisure at the Chinese border gate before boarding the night train to Ha Noi.
